A Ronald McDonald House® is coming to Evansville! Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Ohio Valley has announced that a Ronald McDonald House is coming to Evansville. One of 270 Ronald McDonald Houses globally, it will provide a “home-away-from-home” for families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at hospitals in the Evansville area. The Ronald McDonald House Program gives families a comfortable, supportive alternative to the hospital setting. We expect to begin construction in the Spring of 2008.
