Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Ohio Valley
As we complete second year of operations, we hope you will join us and open your hearts to those who need it most from throughout the Tri-State ~ our children and their families! Since opening on January 18, 2010, the Evansville Ronald McDonald House continues to support the families of children receiving medical treatment at area hospitals and medical facilities, with a primary focus on the families of neonatal and pediatric and intensive care patients. Features of our "home away from home" include: *10 comfortable bedrooms each with a private bathroom and other amenities *LEED certification providing health and environmental benefits *3 community kitchens fostering emotional support and comfort from group meals *A community area offering daytime respite facilities for local families. In its first 24 months of operation, the Ronald McDonald House has served over 2,500 critically ill children, their families, and extended families, including over 300 overnight guests with an average length of stay of 12.5 days. Guests include families from Southwestern Indiana, Western Kentucky, and Southeastern Illinois. Hundreds of volunteers have also experienced the “house that love built," and we are so thankful for their direct impact on so many! PLEASE JOIN OUR MISSION TODAY!
