The Public is invited to a Special Fireside Reception to honor our Volunteers - especially our 10 Finalists for the "2011 Sallie Ann Hill Volunteer of the Year": Phyllis Bauer, Joanie Beckwith, Lara Carter, Terri Chevalier, Carolyn Gallagher, Judy Norrington, Karen Parke, Bill Rogers, Pris Rutledge, & Steve Schroer! Join us on January 18th for a Winter's Open House from 4-6pm - Announcement of the "2011 Sallie Ann Hill Volunteer of the Year" will be at 5:30pm. Cookies & Hot Chocolate and a chance to say Thank you to those who have made our 2nd year of Operation possible!

In 1974, the first Ronald McDonald House opened in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, thanks to the efforts of Philadelphia Eagles' football player Fred Hill and his wife. To commemorate this special year, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley, Inc. invites you to donate $74 per month via electronic transfer as a member of The 74 Club. For less than $2.40 per day, your contributions will fund our mission of providing low-cost temporary housing for the families of critically ill children receiving medical treatment at local hospitals and medical facilities. Your school could win a visit from Ronald McDonald- join the Cans for Kids program, a student recycling initiative between Evansville’s Ronald McDonald House and the Alcoa Foundation!
Participating schools receive curriculum materials, recycling containers, and additional information as they strive to collect 1,000 pounds of aluminum cans (approximately 30,000 cans) to earn a visit from Ronald McDonald. To register for this program, please contact Jill Swiz, RMHC Development Manager, at 812-402-RMHC (7642), ext. 3.

Does your school or organization need help counting your pop tab collection? Contact your local McDonald's restaurant and request emply French Fry shipping boxes. Twenty boxes equals ONE MILLION POP TABS! If your school or organization collects one million tabs, you could win a visit from Ronald McDonald. See attached flyer for more information.

Volunteer DayEvansville Ronald McDonald House shows volunteer appreciation by honoring volunteers with an open house. The RMHC board announces the start of the "Sallie Ann Hill Volunteer of the Year" award program. Sallie Ann Hill was presented an award for her efforts in founding the RMHC of Ohio Valley.
Dunn Hospitality offers a special discount to extended family and friends of those who stay at the Ronald McDonald House.
