Volunteer Information

In the last year, volunteers contributed nearly one million hours of their time to support Ronald McDonald House Charities^® programs. You can help the Ronald McDonald House® in Evansville provide comfort to families of ill children in many ways. Once Evansville’s House is open and operating, individuals and groups can volunteer in several areas including:

• Greeting guests
• Answering telephones
• Registering families
• Assisting with mailings
• Becoming involved with the House’s Tour Guide Group and Speaker’s Bureau
• Preparing a home-cooked meal for the families
• Conducting a special activity for the families, such as games, crafts, music or holiday parties
• Assisting in keeping the House clean and tidy
• Assisting in special cleaning projects
